I would like to intorduce you to a custom order I just finished she is a Quilter and she is pretty darn cute! I used a iron chair, wool felt, embroidery floss, and a variety of material donated by the Utah Shakespearean Festival- Thanks!

This Week I collaborated with Aaron again and we came up with Santa's WorkShop. This workshop took approx 72 hours to complete and has 3 floors. First floor is the Sleigh loading zone complete with santas sleigh, bag of presents, reindeer, and elves. The Second Floor, the toy making area has a rock fireplace, desk, and elf making toys. The top floor is where the elves help Santa in reviewing the Naughty and Nice lists. The Workshop comes with a wool felt tree averaging 120 individual hand sewn branches and an elf lowering the star on the tree with a fishing pole. Cost is $125. These scenes come in a variety of options give me a challenge!

This is Biker Chick! Completed on Saturday Sept 26, 2009. The Original painting and one of a kind bike are a week long collaborative effort by Aaron and Emily. Biker Chick's Jacket is embroidered with a flaming egg and the gang sign "Hecks Pecks Coop 66". This gang travels route 66 and enjoys bird watching in their favorite states. Biker Chick is $150 and is available at my online gallery store at www.AuntieEmDolls.com.

Artist Statement

Auntie Em Dolls were first created to give a smile to a child in need. Over the years of developing my talents, I have given away over 400 dolls to friends, family, and special acquaintances that just needed a smile.

“I create dolls as a way to relax from the stresses of life. Using my creativity, I enter the world of my creations and become best friends and allies in turn affecting the final outcome of the doll. I have been creating dolls for over 15 years, finally coming up with a unique design and look. I create each doll by hand, averaging over 3,500 hand sewn stitches per doll. (I can’t believe I counted either!!!) No patterns are ever used in the creation of a doll, making each design one of a kind.”
